I bring names for the lunaris :
Uaithne / Danu / Cernunnos / Awen. They are names related to Celtic mythology.
I've proposed Uaithne before, but it wasn't chosen, so I hope it's alright :
Shalott a écrit:Uaithne: the first time I saw this name, I read it means "green" in Irish Gaelic. Then, I learnt it's also the name of a magical harp owned by The Dagda ( a god in Celtic mythology ) who was a king within the fairy race known as the Tuatha Dé Danann. It was said his playing on this harp made the seasons arrive in their proper order. The instrument could also play music with 3 different properties, causing those effects on the listener : joy, sorrow and sleep. In other sources it's the name of the harper and not the harp, who was the only one apart from the Dagda that could play it.
Danu : the mother goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann ( translated as "the folk of the goddess Danu" ), a supernatural race in Irish mythology.
She is believed to be a Mother Earth figure. All things in Ireland depended upon her blessings. Her connection to the earth also tied her to the fairies, fairy mounds, and dolmens of Ireland.
There is not much about her in medieval Irish texts. Given the migratory nature of the Tuatha Dé Danann, it has been speculated that she was also a wind goddess and/or connected with flowing rivers.
One proposed interpretation of her name claims it's derived from a word meaning "to run, to flow", which suits the lunaris 2 pose well. ^^
Cernunnos : the horned god. An archaic and powerful deity, widely worshipped as the lord of the wild and primeval force of nature, associated with animals, forests and fertility.
The motifs on his forehead make me think of horns and he would also look cool with horns accessories. xD
Awen : Awen is a Welsh, Cornish and Breton word for "(poetic) inspiration".
In the Welsh tradition, awen is the inspiration of the poet bards; or, in its personification, Awen is the inspirational muse of creative artists in general.
In mythology, this power comes from the magical cauldron of a a Welsh sorceress, where she brews great potions to help others.
