As you know this year celebrates the

10 ans d'existence de Gothicat World ! / 10 years of existence of Gothicat World !

Pour fêter cet événement, nous avons en janvier dernier lancé un appel aux idées afin d'animer comme il se doit le forum tout au long de cette année exceptionnelle, et je peux vous dire qu'il y a eu une sacré tempête dans les cerveaux vu le nombre d'idées récoltées en peu de temps !
To celebrate this event we launched last January a brainstorming to collect ideas to animate the forum throughout this exceptional year. And I can say that there were a big storm in the brains seeing the amount of ideas we collected !

Bien entendu toutes les idées ne seront pas mises en place en même temps, c'est pourquoi nous vous proposons ci-dessous un répertoire pour que vous vous y retrouviez facilement parmi les animations et que vous puissiez y accéder simplement via un petit clic sans avoir à chercher dans les sections du forum (ce répertoire sera régulièrement mis à jour, donc pensez à y jeter un coup d'oeil de temps en temps ;3)
Naturally all ideas will not start and finish in the same time, that's why we propose thereafter a repertoire to help you. So that you can easily find and access to different activities, with only one click, without having to search in the different sections of the forum (this repertoire will be regularly updated so consider taking a look from time to time ;3)

I'm puzzled, what is meant by "animations"...?

I used a translator for this word and it gave me "animation" but it may not be correct ?
Truffula's right; "animation" means different activities organised all over the forum to celebrate the 10th birthday of GW ^^

In English, Tigereyes, "animation" can mean the quality of being energetic or moving, but it can't mean a thing you do to re-energize. It's very rarely used in plural form, being instead a mass noun.

Usually "animation" out of context will be taken to mean drawn movies like cartoons, anime, donghua

The only typical plural usage of "animations" is describing the encoded motions of people or animals in computer games (the walking animations for sims in The Sims, for example).
