One other question, I see people with creatures that are only silhouettes, what does this mean? Mostly they seem to be the new Halloween creatures. Are these ones they have unlocked but not purchased? Why can I cuddle them if so?

It's with creatures wich you first need to unlock so others still dont know how they are looking! They become visiable after event is over.

I believe you can trade them before the event is over. I've traded event creatures before while an event was still going (the past two events, in fact).

Quest creatures you own will be visible to you, but other users' creatures will be in silhouette, and the images of your creatures used in links will be too until the event ends, to prevent spoiling the surprise for others.

Another question of my own--I noticed Gothi-Lucky has been extended until 11/16, has the Halloween quest been extended too?

I just went to check on the french side and they nocticed the same thing! And no notice as for the quest itself, so ending time is still the same (in 23 hours from now)
