I finished the horse body and started on the rocks on its back. FYI I used a horse figurine to make sure the anatomy was correct.
More Rocks added. Now the rocks go down to it's chest. The rocks are placed the same on the other side of the horsed body.
Even more rocks! As you can see, they go along the back until hitting the base of the tail. You only see part of it because of the angle that the horse is at. Some of the rocks are also going up its neck and become smaller until disappearing, then they reappear at the forehead in a diamond pattern before disappearing again.
A close up of the horses head. You can see more detail on the diamond pattern that the rocks create.
Another close up, this time of it's back. Now you can see more detail of the rocks going along it's back and up it's neck.
I have added the tail. As you can(hopefully) see, it is made of water. This is my first time drawing water in this way, so I apologize if it is horrible.
A close up of the tail. Once more, my first time drawing water like this.
Finished the mane! I hope it also looks like water. It also has a forelock.
Close up of the mane.
Next I will draw the background!!!!
