I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this in here, but I wished to express my sorrow/sympathy for what's occurring at Notre Dame cathedral. We just saw it on the news here in the United States and it's brought tears to my eyes. This is such a horrific loss of culture and history.

The fire is growing up , little by little, it eats our monument... That's unbelievable...
I hope the fire will be stopped as fast as possible

My family and I are supposed to go to Paris on wednesday, we really wanted to visite the cathedral... It gives us a really strange sensation...

I hope they can restore what has been destroyed somehow. News just said that the paris fire fighters won the fight against the flames. It would be devestating to lose such an iconic piece of history and architecture.
