It occurs to me that the Saloon, while holding a nice selection currently, could be enhanced with some comfort food treats.

You know, the sort of soothing, easy-to-digest food your mother used to make when you were sick.

I am not sure what the French traditions for this are...? It would be lovely to find out! <3

(I am thinking a treat that does not really give you any energy -when you are ill, you do not have much energy- but makes you feel a little better (well being) and maybe gives one point of health.)

What do you all think?

And what are the French traditions, food-wise, when one is ill?
Désolée mais je ne parle pas français. Je compte sur votre patience, votre bonne volonté et les traducteurs

Hello^^

Hmm... Maybe "remède/recette de grand-mère" in French, but I think there is another word for this...
I guess the English tradition for this is the same in France...?
Heh, the only one I now is milk with honey for the cough^^'

Anyway, I like this idea^^
When a creature catch a cold (for example), he lost a small some of health, but we can't use potion for that. Use this could fill the gauge^^
Eeerr... Sorry for my bad English^^'

In Ireland we have Champ, a comfort food.

Pronounced like the "champion", not "shamp"

It consists of mashed potatoes and then a mixture of butter and milk and with softened green onions (spring onions, scallions - all the same thing). Mix them all together and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Eat it with anything - makes you happy!

Great idea. The "champ" here in USA is known as "colcannon" and my Irish mother in law used to make it. Oatmeal might also be good, and rice tea (rice cooked in green tea). Speaking of tea, chamomile tea is another one! Banana coconut junket is my last one but no idea what culture that is from, it works though!
